Custom furniture
When NAK Designs was asked by clients from Bench Rd. to make a custom furniture side table for cookbooks that worked with the space they had created earlier this year this is what happened. They forged the table frame out of 3/4″ iron for the legs upset on the bottom and top with forged iron straps wrapped around them. They inlayed walnut and maple 8/4 slabs to make the top and wove 1 1/4″ x 1/8 iron to make the bottom shelf.
