Forged Iron Door Panels

The set of forged iron door panels were custom designed and fabricated for a Helena, MT client. The door panels complement a bifold gate that is adorned with square knots.  The scrolls on the bottom of the panel were hand forged as were the square knots. The square knots are ½” square bar forged on the diamond and tied into knots while the iron was hot. Tying square knots in hot metal was a new challenge that taught me a great deal. The panels enhance the charm of the door.
